Arginine is an important amino acid that is widely used in animal feed additives.  As a semi-essential amino acid, arginine is necessary for animals under certain conditions (such as growth, development, stress, disease, etc.), because the animal's own synthesis is not enough to meet the demand.  The following are the main roles and specific functions of arginine in feed additives:
